What I do.

What I’ve done.

What I’m about.

Currently I’m practicing privately at Selph Health Studios, working as physiotherapist for the Cricket NSW female pathways program, and pursuing another Masters degree in Sports Medicine.

“I’m passionate about making hard to reach fitness and rehab goals attainable for people of all ages and activity levels.”

My in clinic approach is hands-on and movement focused with the use of techniques including: soft tissue and myo-fascial release, joint mobilisation and manipulation, Dry Needling, Muscle Energy Technique (MET), movement pattern correction, and exercise programming.

In my studies, I’ve completed a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney and also an Honours Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Kinesiology from McMaster University. I’m currently completing another Masters degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Melbourne.

In the past I have worked at a number of sports medicine clinics including with the NSW Institute of Sport as the Physiotherapy coordinator for the Hockey and Netball programs. I was the physiotherapist for a number of other sport teams including: The Australian Junior Men’s Hockey Team, Canada Raven’s Rugby League, Hockey NSW Waratahs & Arrows, Netball NSW U19s, Gymnastics NSW, and NSW women’s rugby.

In my free time, you can find me rock climbing outdoors, drinking a glass or two of wine, and playing rugby for The Sydney University Women’s Rugby Club.

“After years of doing the hard yards and being on the ground in the sports industry, I looked around and realised how different the sports industry showed up for people like me, those who don’t always fit the mold.”

Early-on in my career as a healthcare professional, I had become so caught up in building my professional development and “doing the hard yards” to excel that I didn’t have the opportunity to reflect on why I was doing all this.

But after years of being on the ground in the sports industry, I looked around me and realised how different the sports industry showed up for people like me, those who don’t always fit the mold.

Not only were there fewer opportunities, but also less research, resources and support for women in sport.

I started to wonder, how can we show up better for women in sport?

That’s why I want to be able to share information through research as well as my own personal experiences to empower and create space for under-served communities in sport.

I hope that this creates generations of female and gender diverse athletes that recognize their strengths, understand their bodies, and realize that they can make a powerful impact in the world.

Check out the teams I’ve worked with.
